Hollie Lambert, Sharon Musson and Sally Darby, Claims Team
Between the three of us in the claims team at AIPS we have over 50 years’ experience in the insurance industry, gained working at brokers, accident management companies, and insurers. We understand how stressful claims can be in any circumstance and aim to remove as much of the administration and hassle of dealing with claims as possible, liaising with insurers on behalf of our clients and explaining processes and next steps throughout. We are all passionate about customer experience and will do our utmost to assist with any situation that may arise or provide guidance on where to seek further advice if we are unable to do so. The philosophy behind the claims handling role at AIPS has enabled us to maintain the hands-on involvement in claims that we each love, rather than a “post-box” or “middle-man” approach and we are encouraged to be pro-active, use our own initiative, and take time over the claims handling to ensure that claims are managed efficiently by insurers. We pride ourselves in offering this service regardless of type of policy or claim or the size of premium, or how long a client has been with us. We are pleased to see this reflected in the relationships we have with our clients, and that those who have a higher claim frequency know us and approach us directly when a claim arises. The support from AIPS around continuing professional development also allows us to keep our skills and knowledge up to date and progress this where we choose to. The claims team at AIPS are here to help and look forward to doing so.

AIPS has been a home from home for me for more years than I have worked here, but I guess that is what to expect when your father owns the business! I have worked here for four years, and I have seen the company grow both externally and internally, we have gone from strength to strength with each addition to the team and it really is a great place to work, one that I hope to continue to be a part of and hopefully one day, continue to take forward.
Tina Rudge, Associate Director
What I love most about my job is the people I work with. We are a real team, and the camaraderie is great, everyone’s views are welcomed and embraced.
Stephen Huckle, Associate Director
Having joined the company in 2007 as a commercial account handler, I have gradually worked my way up to my current position as Associate Director & Commercial Manager. During my time here it is fair to say that I have experienced a number of changes and challenges, none more so than becoming the commercial manager during a pandemic! However, with the support of the whole team, we have not only navigated our way through these uncertain times, but emerged as a stronger, more resilient and customer focused company.
Callum Douglas, Account Executive
I had known of AIPS for many years, as they have a remarkable reputation in the market and jumped at the chance to join the company in July 2021, coming across from a large national broker. I was keen to work for an independent, client focused brokerage again. AIPS are family owned and with no outside interests to consider, the client is at the centre of everything that we do – which is a refreshing change. I am looking forward to spending many years ahead with AIPS.
Ashleigh Robertshaw, Commercial Department
Having started my insurance career at AIPS, I am now pleased to be back in the fold after a short stint away at one of the large national brokers. I have never experienced such team cohesiveness and genuine friendship in a work environment, and I firmly believe that it’s due to the ethos behind AIPS; family – be that the colleagues we work with day in day out, to the clients we serve. We are, and will continue to remain, a local company that understands and respects the importance of relationships, values the people within the organisation, and gives back to the wider community. All in all, coming back to a regional independent brokerage, one of the few remaining, has been a joy, and I cannot wait to see AIPS continue to go from strength to strength.
Julie Cherry, Account Executive
I have 13 years Corporate and Commercial insurance experience, 7 years of that were spent working for a corporate broker in London. Now working at AIPS, I notice a real difference in the focus an independent broker has on their clients’ needs in comparison to the corporate brokers I have worked for previously. AIPS’ top priority is their client’s needs, which is really refreshing to see. AIPS is a family owned and run local broker, so any decisions that are made from the top, are instant, which means we do not have to go through the “chain of command” that you must do at a National Broker. The AIPS team is a family, and that ethos is very much reflected on how we treat our clients. The job satisfaction you feel from being an AIPS member, especially as it continues to thrive and be a very active member of the local community, is amazing. It certainly makes you feel very proud to work with such a great team who all want to achieve the best for our clients
Martyn Priestley, Small Business Team Manager
I joined AIPS in 2017, having worked for a national broker, I was eager to join a successful family run business who value their customers and put them at the forefront of everything they do, which is exactly what AIPS do.
