Commercial Account Handler

We are a ‘Top-100’ leading independent insurance broker, following another successful year, we are seeking an experienced commercial account handler to assist us in our growth in 2022.
The position will be based in our office in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Salary is variable and dependent on experience.
Working Hours – Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm, no remote work available

Overall Objective:

The role has responsibility for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business whilst ensuring full FCA compliance in all aspects of personal and commercial insurance. Ensuring a quality service is provided to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.

Skills, Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cert CII desirable, but not essential
  • The candidate must have good levels of IT skills and knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel is desired. Open GI experience would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given
  • The candidate must be able to work independently, using their own initiative and have a desire to develop within the role.
  • We are looking for a positive individual who is driven, ambitious and able to work in a trusted environment, good task/diary management is a must.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge / experience:
    • Working knowledge of most commercial insurance products
    • Experience of working as an Account Handler in a similar broking environment
    • Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance
  • Abilities:
    • Diligence in terms of attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy and efficiency
    • Confident communicator with both clients and colleagues
    • Ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer
    • Building strong relationships with e.g. clients, insurers etc
  • Qualification / education / training
    • Willingness to work towards Dip CII

Small Business Team Client Advisor

Claims Team – Claims Handler

We are a ‘Top-100’ leading independent insurance broker, following another successful year, we are seeking an experienced claims handler to assist us handling the claims for our growing and varied client, insurer, and policy base.
The position will be based in our office in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Salary is variable and dependent on experience.
Working Hours – Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm, no remote work available

Overall Objective:

The role has responsibility for undertaking the case management of insurance claims made by clients. The role requires the post holder to provide excellent customer service in line with FCA and Company guidelines.

Skills
