“Between the three of us in the claims team at AIPS we have over 50 years’ experience in the insurance industry, gained working at brokers, accident management companies, and insurers. We understand how stressful claims can be in any circumstance and aim to remove as much of the administration and hassle of dealing with claims as possible, liaising with insurers on behalf of our clients and explaining processes and next steps throughout. We are all passionate about customer experience and will do our utmost to assist with any situation that may arise or provide guidance on where to seek further advice if we are unable to do so. The philosophy behind the claims handling role at AIPS has enabled us to maintain the hands-on involvement in claims that we each love, rather than a “post-box” or “middle-man” approach and we are encouraged to be pro-active, use our own initiative, and take time over the claims handling to ensure that claims are managed efficiently by insurers. We pride ourselves in offering this service regardless of type of policy or claim or the size of premium, or how long a client has been with us. We are pleased to see this reflected in the relationships we have with our clients, and that those who have a higher claim frequency know us and approach us directly when a claim arises. The support from AIPS around continuing professional development also allows us to keep our skills and knowledge up to date and progress this where we choose to. Having started my insurance career at AIPS, I am now pleased to be back in the fold after a short stint away at one of the large national brokers. I have never experienced such team cohesiveness and genuine friendship in a work environment, and I firmly believe that it’s due to the ethos behind AIPS; family – be that the colleagues we work with day in day out, to the clients we serve. I have 13 years Corporate and Commercial insurance experience, 7 years of that were spent working for a corporate broker in London. Now working at AIPS, I notice a real difference in the focus an independent broker has on their clients’ needs in comparison to the corporate brokers I have worked for previously. AIPS’ top priority is their client’s needs, which is really refreshing to see. AIPS is a family owned and run local broker, so any decisions that are made from the top, are instant, which means we do not have to go through the “chain of command” that you must do at a National Broker.
